Dr. Jesus M. de la Garza, director of the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences spoke to a crowd of local alumni, faculty, and guests about the current state of the School of CEEES and his visions for achieving programs ranked among the top ten universities on August 11th at the Madren Center. The path forward will require a laser focus on infrastructure and environmental issues that directly impact society. Clemson was the third stop on his Roar & Soar Tour , an initiative to reach out to and connect with alumni in the local area.
Upcoming Roar & Soar Tours include Atlanta, Raleigh, Charlotte and more.
Alumni are encouraged to explore other pathways to engage with the School of CEEES and our current students, such as joining our School’s LinkedIn page, serving as a mentor with TigerLink, volunteering as guest speakers in our courses and participating in Industry Day, which will be held on October 27th at the Clemson University Madren Center.
