Qualified candidates should be at a senior associate or full professor level, and also have an exemplary record of scholarship, research funding, student outcomes, and a research vision that promotes collaboration.

Competitive candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline and be able to teach core civil engineering courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels to achieve student outcomes.
