Dr. Jay Ochterbeck chaired the 2010 15th International Heat Pipe Conference at Clemson University on April 25-29. The conference was held at the Madren Center and hosted over 100 people from Japan, Libya, France, Belgium, Korea, Russia, South Africa, Great Britain, China, Italy, Canada, Taiwan, The Netherlands, Spain, and across the United States. This conference focused on topics related to heat pipe and thermosyphon developments, and provided a forum for exchange of up-to-date information and experiences among scientists and engineers from around the world. This conference was organized under the coordination of the International Heat Pipe Conference Committee, with this conference being the next in a series spanning 37 years. The conference featured 91 presentations delivered by experts in their respective fields.
