Congratulations to Dr. Mohammed Daqaq, who received the 2010 Eugene H. Bishop Award. Daqaq was recognized for his exceptional abilities working with students and teaching. The Eugene H. Bishop Award was established by the students of Pi Tau Sigma in 1988 to honor the exceptional accomplishments of Dr. Bishop as a highly respected classroom teacher and educator. Dr. Bishop, former department chair, and associate college dean, retired from active service with the Department of Mechanical Engineering in December of 1996. The award recipient is selected annually by a vote of the students and is presented at the departmental awards banquet.
