National Association of Plant Breeders Conference (NAPB2023)

National Association of Plant Breeders 2023 – hosted by Clemson University Greenville, SC, July 16-20

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences at Clemson University is pleased to host the National Association of Plant Breeders 2023 Annual Meeting from July 16-19, 2023 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Greenville, SC.

The conference theme will focus on “Southern hospitality through food and agriculture.”  Attendees will gain insight into the intersection of food and agriculture in the Southeast through culinary-inspired plant breeding, witness firsthand the role of stakeholders in participatory plant breeding, and envision the future of plant breeding through innovation and multidisciplinary collaboration.  The in-person conference will feature interactive opportunities such as a pre-conference tour of Clemson’s research farms, engaging sessions, visits to specialty crop operations, and networking activities in the evening to connect, relax, and enjoy.

Mark your calendars to participate in the 2023 Annual Meeting, and check back often for more details, key deadlines, and timeline for submissions.

The planning committee is hard at work to create a great experience for the 2023 meeting, and we look forward to seeing you in South Carolina!

This meeting is intended to be an in-person event. To increase accessibility, digital content will be made available to all registered attendees through the meeting website soon after the meeting is over. Speakers will be given the option to have their talks recorded and made available virtually after the conference.
