It’s that time of year – time for COFFEE!
The next rotation of Clemson Online’s popular course in online instruction starts on Monday, September 13. Don’t miss out!
Clemson Online’s Furthering Faculty Education & E-Learning, or COFFEE, is an 8 week, a self-paced and interactive training class for instructors who want to learn best practices for teaching online, or to simply enhance their teaching with Canvas skills. Each COFFEE participant will be assigned a DEMO shell in Canvas to apply what they learn, and can then keep the course for future experimentation and course building. Participants will learn about crafting measurable learning objectives, building and organizing learning content, creating digital assignments, and making a course introduction video. COFFEE covers everything you need to know about teaching in Canvas for synchronous, asynchronous, and hybrid course modalities.
COFFEE is a self-enroll course, so you can join the class anytime before September 13 by clicking here for COFFEE: Fall 2021. You will receive your DEMO shell once the course starts.
If you still need to learn about Canvas and are looking for something a little more low-key, we have a 2 part Basics series that is self-paced and walks participants through the basic elements of Canvas such as logging in, editing the user profile, using the Inbox, organizing files, and more. To enroll in Basics or Basics 2, send a request to: onlineplus@clemson.edu
