COFFEE Canvas Training Starts Today!Purple Tiger logo holding a coffee mug.

If you missed out on registering for our Canvas training course COFFEE by February 1st, then you are in luck but you need to act fast! The directed learning COFFEE course that trains you on how to best use Canvas to teach starts today!

  • When: February 7th, and runs till April 3rd. This course runs for 8 weeks.
  • What: You will learn best practices and practice modifying an empty Canvas course site of your own to be shared with the facilitator, Sharyn Emery, Digital Learning Strategist. 
  • How to enroll: Send an email to COFFEE@clemson.edu to register.
  • Need another type of training or would like to take this same course but in the summer? Then check out the host or COFFEE options!
    • Iced COFFEE is the condensed version of COFFEE that runs for 5 weeks and in the summer (May 16 – June 19th).
    • COFFEE Video and Visual will train you on how to incorporate helpful videos into your Canvas course to deliver impactful online education.

Project Management Prep Course

Clemson Online is proud to announce the upcoming non-credit course: Project Management Profession Prep course. The Project Management Institute is the gold standard for evaluating project manager competency. Clemson University is PMI certified to deliver this course which will prepare you to meet the requirements for earning the Project Management Profession Certification, including sitting for the PMP test.

There are two tracks to take the PMP Prep course:

Option A: Five(5) weekdays over two (2) weeks from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Option B: Ten (10) weekdays over five (5) weeks from 5:00-8:30 p.m.

Dam Ownership

In a collaboration between Clemson Extension, the SC Department of Health and Environmental Control, the Natural Resources Conservation Service, and Clemson Online, we are proud to offer the Dam Ownership virtual class. 

  • What is it: “The Dam Ownership in South Carolina class assists every dam owner or operator with understanding the basic concepts to protect the integrity and benefit of their dam rather than becoming a nuisance, or worse – a safety risk.”
  • What you will learn:
    • Dam design
    • Inspection and maintenance techniques
    • Developing a dam repair plan
    • and more!
  • This course is provided free of charge to benefit the public and it is a self-paced six-week online class
