Follow Up Friday: Introduction to Adobe Premiere Pro Basics

On January 29th, Digital Learning Designer Chase Sanders facilitated a Workshop Wednesday presentation dedicated to understanding the basics of Adobe’s Premiere Pro software. The presentation offers a detailed introduction to editing videos with this program.

Sanders begins the presentation by demonstrating how to properly set up a new project in Premiere Pro. He then goes on to discuss some important controls within the program, how to import files, and how to build a smooth video sequence. Additionally, he points out some other essential tools within Premiere Pro, such as the selection tool, as well as important editing tips including how to properly layer audio and video clips, and how to add text into your video.

Overall, this session provides audiences with important information regarding Adobe Premiere Pro and highlights some specific ways you can start utilizing the program for just about any of your video editing needs.
