On April 27, 2021 the Emeritus College held it’s annual Emeritus Day event at the Owen Pavilion. Emeritus Faculty were able to visit safely in-person for the first time in several months! Mr. Charlie White, Associate Professor Emeritus and Director, CU Outdoor Lab and Dr. John Morse, Professor Emeritus of Entomology, were recognized as the 2021 Distinguished Emeriti recipients. The College also recognized the 2021 I. Dwaine Eubanks Fellows for their service to the College (Dr. Skip Eisiminger, Mrs. Lucy Eubanks, Dr. Hoke Hill, Dr. Calvin Shoulties, and Dr. Jerry Trapnell).
The 2020-2021 emeriti were honored at the beginning of the ceremony by President Clements and Provost Jones for their over 200 years of combined service to the university! A fantastic lunch was enjoyed and Dan Radakovich, Director of Athletics, provided the keynote address with an update on Clemson Athletics!
