Many Emeritus College programs and events could not take place without the steady flow of donations to the College. These donations are made by members of the Emeritus College. Whether it is a donation of $50 or $5,000, the funds are put to good use for student scholarships, services to Clemson, and maintaining cohesion among emeriti. These colleagues, who donate their time as well as their money, are responsible for the Emeritus College’s reputation as one of the very best emeritus organizations in the United States.
Thanks to generous financial support from the provost’s office, the Emeritus College suite provides well-appointed individual workstations, attractive social space, and a seminar room with high quality web conferencing capability. Many of our emeriti are artists and some have loaned their artwork and bound publications for display in our suite. Those enhancements have produced a pleasant, gallery-like setting to help emeritus faculty maintain professional productivity.
