On December 5th, Clemson’s Department of Mechanical Engineering CEDAR sponsored the Clemson Engineering Design Expo (CEDE 2014). The expo aims to bring attention and interest to a STEM education and career. This semester senior design students built wind tunnels and manufacturing equipment that will be given to elementary schools. The schools will use this equipment in the classrooms to give the students a hands on engineering learning experience. During this event, fourth and fifth grade students visited the department for tours and demonstrations of the equipment.
