Congratulations to Dr. Fadi Abdeljawad and his research group. Their work made the back cover of the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Nanoscale journal. In their study, Dr. Abdeljawad and his students integrated theoretical analysis and computational modeling with high-resolution microscopy studies to unravel the role of materials interfaces in the stability of nanocrystalline metallic alloys. The work provides future avenues to design advanced structural materials with unprecedented properties. Their work is funded through the Army Research Office Young Investigator Program (YIP) Award.
