Dr. Ilenia Battiato will receive the ‘Aci and Galatea’ award from the city of Acireale (Catania provence). The award is given to Sicilians who have reached national/international accomplishments in a wide variety of fields (from TV to theatre, and from local enterprises to science/medicine,etc). The awards ceremony will be held on August 10th and broadcast on a couple of local Sicilian television channels.
