Whether you’re developing a new course or refreshing an old one, the Faculty Resource Center (FRC) in Canvas is here to help. Created by Clemson Online, the FRC is a self-enrollable Canvas course designed to support Clemson University faculty in building effective, accessible, and engaging learning experiences, especially in online and blended environments.

The Faculty Resource Center offers a wide range of tools and materials to support your teaching and digital learning environments:

Canvas Templates
Get access to professionally designed course templates that make it easy to create clean, consistent, and visually appealing Canvas courses.

Video Resources
Explore guidance on making instructional videos, from basic Kaltura recording tips to accessibility best practices like captioning.

Learn about research-backed teaching strategies, course design ideas, and best practices specifically tailored for online learning.

Join us for “Introduction to Simple Syllabus” on Aug 7, from 1:30-2:30 pm! This training will demonstrate how to use the Simple Syllabus tool to build and publish an effective syllabus for your course. The training will also cover integrating Simple Syllabus with Canvas and the benefits of using this tool in your course.
