Thank you, Melanie!

For the 2023-24 academic year, graduating senior Melanie Landry has served as Clemson Online’s Instructional Writing Intern. Her primary focus has been drafting blog posts each week. She calls attention to the workshops and content created in house and does her own research to expand our topics. Having started the fall with little of her own experience in teaching or working with online tools, she has certainly grown!
This semester she also added digital accessibility to her portfolio and has been helping us make sure our newsletters, videos, and course content meet those standards.
When asked where she sees herself in 5 years and how this internship has prepared her, she wrote, “I see myself working for a Public Relations Agency and contributing to marketing research while working with people. I hope to be using my creativity and writing skills as well as the technical skills I am learning in my internship.”
Focusing on best practices for online pedagogy and teaching with technology, her communication and technology skills have certainly contributed to our mission to support all instructors at Clemson.
