Introducing Our Newest Staff Members!

In two months, we have had four additions to the Clemson Online staff! We wanted to take the time to introduce them in this post. Each member brings unique skills and experiences to our team, enriching our collaborative efforts and contributing to our mission of delivering top-notch online education. Without further ado, let’s meet the newest faces of Clemson Online!

Alyssa Luptak, Clemson Online Instructional Designer
Alyssa Luptak

Alyssa Luptak is one of Clemson Online’s new Instructional Designers! Alyssa graduated from Clemson in 2020 with a bachelor’s in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English and a bachelor’s in English with an emphasis in International Politics. Hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, her greatest passion is helping others. We are so excited to have her and look forward to what she will achieve with Clemson Online!

Brian Herald, Clemson Online Digital Learning Manager
Brian Herald

Brian Herald has joined Clemson Online as our newest Digital Learning Designer! Brian graduated from Plymouth State University with a degree in Professional Communication. He then obtained his MEd while working as a technical writer. Originally from Massachusetts, Brian is passionate about the Oxford comma. We are overjoyed to have Brian with us and look forward to working with him!

Hansen Wetsel, Clemson Online Quality Matters Coordinator
Hansen Wetsel

Hansen Wetsel is Clemson Online’s new Quality Matters Coordinator! Hansen graduated from Clemson in 2019 with a bachelor’s in Political Science and a minor in Economics. He then went on to obtain a master’s in Politics at NYU. A local from right here in Clemson, SC, Hansen’s passions lie with education and environmental conservation. We are excited to have Hansen with us and look forward to working alongside him!

Josh Hudak, Clemson Online Instructional Designer
Josh Hudak

Josh Hudak joined Clemson Online this past week as an Instructional Designer. Joshua graduated from Clemson with a bachelor’s in Secondary Education. He then graduated from Clemson again, with a master’s in History. Another local from Seneca, SC, Joshua is passionate about his family and faith. We are looking forward to what we will achieve with Joshua!

Social presence is an essential element of online learning and student engagement. Drawing from the Community of Inquiry framework, this workshop will provide tools and best practices for increasing meaningful community in your online course. When registering, please include any questions you have about this training topic.
