On May 24, 2024, Clemson Online hosted a Quick Hit dedicated to exploring the LockDown Browser and Respondus Monitor programs led by IT Services Specialist John Dickinson. The training covers various topics, including the features of the LockDown Browser in administering Canvas quizzes and how to configure the settings for both the LockDown Browser and Respondus Monitor to maximize their effectiveness. After discussing how to view and evaluate student submissions, the Quick Hit also provides ideas on how to prepare students to use these tools. It provides an overview of the programs’ fundamental features, showcasing how these tools can enhance academic integrity and streamline the online examination process.
