Bookings – Clemson Online Consultations

If you missed the Canvas Jumpstart Series–or if you made it and would just like to do some more brainstorming–schedule a consultation with us! Our team of Learning Tech Specialists, Instructional Designers, and Digital Learning Strategists are ready to meet with you and your colleagues for one-on-one consultations.

What are Bookings?

  • Bookings are one-on-one consultations that last 30 minutes to an hour, depending on your needs.
  • When you schedule a Bookings appointment, you will be prompted to select a topic that best aligns with what you would like help with and it will set you up with one of our expert team members.

What can a Bookings appointment help me with?

  • How to use Clemson-supported learning technology such as Canvas, Zoom, Respondus, etc.
  • How to build an online course in Canvas
  • Best practices for online teaching
  • Accessibility
  • Non-credit course development and more!

Who should use Bookings?

  • Anyone who is or will be teaching an online course.
  • Especially instructors and faculty who are new to working with Clemson Online and want to establish a connection with us.

Presentation – Online Teaching Strategies for Linguistically Diverse Learners

Wednesday, January 18th

Teaching a linguistically diverse student population in an online setting requires strategies that complement the specific modality of instruction while providing unique support for students that are still developing English proficiency. Register for this presentation to learn about frameworks and strategies that will best support this student population in an online learning environment. 

Facilitated by Yamil Ernesto Ruiz, Quality Matters Coordinator. 

A Zoom link will be emailed to registered participants, at least 24 – 48 hours prior to the day of the event. This session will be recorded and all registered participants will receive a link to the recording.
