Clemson Online is excited to announce the first QM Cohort starting in Spring 2023! This program is an opportunity for instructors to be trained in applying the QM Rubric to a course of their choosing. That course will also undergo a rigorous review by the Clemson Online internal review team. Quality Matters (QM) is an internationally recognized standard bearer for quality online education. The QM Rubric, in its 6th edition, is built on continuous research about best practices which range from organizing course content to providing accessible instructional materials.
By the end of this cohort, you will have:
Instructors who have taught a fully online or hybrid course at least once may submit that course to the program.
Now that the end of the semester is upon you, it’s time to determine and process final grades. Join us to see what steps you can take to ensure that scores are adding up correctly and that your final grades are accurate. Facilitated by Axel Ruiz, Learning Technology Specialist. A Zoom link will be emailed to registered participants 48 hours prior to the day of the event.
As we cross the finish line on another Fall semester, do yourself a small favor before taking your well-deserved winter break: join us to discuss best practices in preparing for next semester. In this session we will cover exporting and importing Canvas course content, identifying one actionable change to make in your course, reviewing your course learning objectives, and ensuring they align with the rest of the course. Join us in person at Cooper 309 or virtually through Zoom. A Zoom link will be emailed to registered participants 48 hours prior to the day of the event. Facilitated by James Butler, Digital Learning Strategist.
