The QM Cohort

Clemson Online is excited to announce the first QM Cohort starting in Spring 2023! This program is an opportunity for instructors to be trained in applying the QM Rubric to a course of their choosing. That course will also undergo a rigorous review by the Clemson Online internal review team. Quality Matters (QM) is an internationally recognized standard bearer for quality online education. The QM Rubric, in its 6th edition, is built on continuous research about best practices which range from organizing course content to providing accessible instructional materials.

Benefits of the Cohort

By the end of this cohort, you will have:

  • Applied fundamental best practices to online course design.
  • Completed professional development training for your CV.
  • Earned a certification and a digital badge from QM in Applying the QM Rubric (APPQMR).
  • Earned Clemson Online QM Essentials badge to display in your course when it successfully meets standards.
  • Received a $500 stipend for your time and effort.
