November 3rd is E-Learning Preparedness Day, and it is approaching quickly! In preparation for E-Learning Day, Millie Tullis, Digital Learning Strategist, hosted a preparedness training workshop. This workshop was dedicated to preparing instructors for E-Learning Day by discussing resources, tips, and suggested activities to keep students engaged and learning through the digital landscape.
Tullis began by introducing E-Learning Day, detailing what it is, its purpose, and who it affects. Then the session pivoted to discussing how to prepare for your lesson on E-Learning day, providing ideas for. Next, Tullis provided a more general description of best practices to employ to ensure success in the event of an unforeseen crisis that necessitates online teaching.
This workshop serves as excellent preparation for E-Learning Preparedness Day as it equips instructors with practical strategies and advice to facilitate online learning. By planning ahead, instructors can ensure a stress-free and successful E-Learning Day.
