Gray Jackson, Sr. Learning Tech Specialist for Clemson Online, led a Quit Hit session on Thursday, September 4th. This training served as an introduction and overview to the New Quizzes functionality available in Canvas.

Jackson began by showing how to enable New Quizzes for your Canvas course and get started creating one. He then provided an in-depth look at some of the new question types available in the program and highlighted some new features. The session then pivoted to showcasing the moderation page, where you can manage accommodations and view students’ results; Item Banks, where you can sort your questions; and Outcomes, where you can set learning objectives. Jackson then took the time to answer viewers’ questions regarding New Quizzes. If you are confused about any aspect of New Quizzes, Jackson may have answered your question in this Quick Hit.
This Quick Hit offered a practical view of many features that set New Quizzes apart. Furthermore, if you have been hesitant to adopt New Quizzes for your Canvas courses, this session might make you more confident to do so.
