Join Clemson Online and CCIT for interactive classroom technology information sessions on Monday, August 16 and Tuesday, August 17 – both days from 9am to 2pm. We will share tips, best practices, and lessons learned over the past year. These in-person sessions include hands on practice with the A/V technology; try out Zoom or Powerpoint in your classroom before your first day. Check in on the second floor entrance of Brackett Hall.
Clemson Online maintains a Canvas site filled with resources, advice, tips and tricks, and everything else you might need to get up to speed on teaching with Canvas. Instructors can self-enroll at this link. You can find information about using Canvas in your courses, how to use tools such as Lockdown Browser or Zoom, how to upload files to your cloud storage options, and much, much more.
Our exclusive faculty training series is known as COFFEE: Clemson Online Furthering Faculty Education and E-Learning. Each self-paced course is facilitated by a Clemson Online staff member with 10+ years’ experience in online development and instruction and includes opportunities for creating course artifacts and developing skills in online teaching. Our fall roster of courses is below, with instructions for enrollment:
Clemson Online offers Quality Matters course reviews, a nationally recognized marker of excellence in online instruction. Our experienced team can review both online (asynchronous and synchronous) and hybrid courses, and work directly with faculty to make improvements. QM reviews are great for tenure and promotion files, as well as for any faculty who may be looking for assistance in online course design and instruction. Email Lori Kinley for more information.
We offer a variety of training workshops and online classes that can also help your students get up to speed with Canvas, online learning, Zoom etiquette, and more – for both undergraduate and graduate students, for a class or campus organization.
We offer a variety of training workshops and online classes that can help you with any of the online instructional tools we support including Canvas, Zoom, Remote Proctoring, Ensemble, Camtasia, and more.
