This Quick Hit will cover using Lockdown Browser and Respondus Monitor for online quizzes and using Turnitin to check for possible plagiarism in your students’ written work. Whether you’re new to these tools, want to see their features demonstrated, or have a specific question about using these tools in your class, this training has you covered. When registering, please include any questions you have about this training topic.
June 16 – Introduction to Simple Syllabus
Register for “Introduction to Simple Syllabus” on June 16, from 3-4 pm! This training will demonstrate how to use the Simple Syllabus tool to build and publish an effective syllabus for your course. The training will also cover integrating Simple Syllabus with Canvas and the benefits of using this tool in your course.
June 25 – How to Deter Online Cheating Through Course Design
“How to Deter Online Cheating Through Course Design” will take place on June 25, from 1:30-2:30 pm! Join this training to learn more about deterring cheating through effective course design! This training will cover information about why students cheat and how to design assignments and courses in Canvas that increase motivation for online students.
