After earning her degree at Clemson University in 2021 in Biological Sciences and a minor in Genetics, she went on to continue her education at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dasgupta received a Blue Ribbon Award at this year’s Association for Clinical and Translational Science (ACTS) Annual Meeting in Washington, DC. Shaoni was recognized for her accepted abstracts and presented her research during the ACTS poster sessions. The Blue Ribbon Award honors TL1 trainees with outstanding poster submissions and is awarded to a select group whose work demonstrates excellence in translational science.
