Clemson Army ROTC commissioned three new 2LTs in December. 2LT Michael Scwhartz, of Elkton, MD, earned a degree in operations management. Schwartz branched Corps of Engineers, and will be with the 382 Sapper Co. out of Harrisburg, PA. 2LT Eric Basso, of Greenville, SC, completed his computer engineering degree and also branched Corps of Engineers. He will be a part of the 174th MAC based out of Wellford, SC. 2LT Shandie Owenby, a mathematical science major, branched Military Police. She will be joining the 170th MP BN out of Decatur, GA.
