On Thursday, August 27, 2015, Clemson University’s Army ROTC first year (ML1) & second year (ML2) Cadets conducted their Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT). Early Thursday morning around 0500, Cadets began to arrive at the indoor/outdoor track. The APFT consists of three events: 2 minutes of push-ups, 2 minutes of sit-ups, and a 2-mile run. This APFT was very important for many Cadets who wanted to contract with Clemson University’s Fightin’ Tigers because all contracting Cadets needed to pass each event with at least 60 points in order to receive their scholarship.
