It includes powerful search filters, saved searches, automated funding recommendations, and tools to help users stay current with opportunities aligned to their research interests.

The Electronic Research Administration (ERA) team is continuing to move key initiatives forward in support of the Division of Research. Current work is focused on strengthening core research administration systems, improving integration with enterprise platforms, and preparing for important upcoming milestones that will enhance operational efficiency and long-term system performance.

ERA is pleased to announce that the InfoEd upgrade has been officially approved and is now underway. This important initiative marks a major step forward in modernizing the platform and improving the overall user experience. Work has begun and is expected to continue through August. The upgrade will support improved functionality, greater system stability, and a stronger foundation for future enhancements in research administration.

ERA is actively engaged in ongoing integration work related to Workday as the university prepares for the July 1 go-live. These efforts are focused on ensuring alignment between research administration processes and the new enterprise environment, while supporting a smooth transition and minimizing disruption to critical operations across the Division of Research.

Mike Bryant, Director of Electronic Research Administration, has engaged directly with InfoEd to launch an InfoEd Revitalization Project. This initiative is focused on resolving current system issues, enhancing platform capabilities, and developing a long-term scope for automation and reporting. We look forward to sharing updates and progress as this important project moves forward.

The DocuSign implementation for CURF is nearly complete. However, the broader rollout to other departments within the Division of Research is currently on pause due to the university’s new ERP rollout. We remain committed to resuming the implementation once we can align it with institutional priorities and technical capacity.
