Darby Voisin, a senior majoring in Economics, has won multiple Clemson and National Awards during her time at Clemson. Last year, Darby was part of a five person Clemson team that won The Fiscal Challenge, a national competition in which students present solutions to stabilize the Federal budget.
This year, Darby participated in a Case Study Competition at Princeton University sponsored by Ernst and Young. In this competition she helped form a winner team, included students from Bradley, Cornell, and Stanford. Darby’s team were awarded standing job offers from Ernst & Young as a result of their victory. However, Darby has chosen to accept a position in the Treasury Division with Ally Bank in Charlotte, one which will allow her to simultaneously pursue graduate study. Darby’s accomplishments were the subject of a recent article in the Anderson Independent.
In addition to these national awards, Darby was recently given the Harvey Wheeler Award for Outstanding Graduate student in the Department. She shared this award with Brandon Burgess, who will be joining Sun-Trust in Atlanta upon graduation. Finally, Darby excellent academic performance was recognized this month with the Delta Sigma Pi Scholastic Key Award.
This is quite an impressive list of accomplishments!
