NSF Summer Research Opportunity for Undergraduates at ECU

January 5, 2024

National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduates (NSF REU):

Resilience & Adaptation to Coastal Change Across Communities (C2C)

Undergrads can apply now for this summer’s C2C REU Program held in North Carolina’s Outer Banks!

This unique program provides undergraduate students the opportunity to take part in team-based, hands-on research at the Coastal Studies Institute on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.  Available interdisciplinary projects this year will span research in the natural and social sciences with faculty mentors from East Carolina University, Clemson University, and the University of Puerto Rico – Arecibo.  Students will receive a $6000 stipend (in addition to living and travel expenses) for participating in this 10-week program.

Applications are being accepted through January 27, at which time we will begin reviewing submissions and making initial offers to the applicants.
