Meet the Interns

Hello! My name is Anna Kuiper, and I am a Senior Communication Major from Greenville, SC. I am currently one of the two social media interns for the Erwin Center for Brand Communications. During the past four years at Clemson I have made incredible memories, friendships, and gained so much knowledge from the incredible professors I’ve had. I am currently completing the Erwin Center minor and have loved the classes I’ve taken for the minor.

Around campus I am also involved in founding the ClemsonLIFE Executive Board, Legacy Day 2018 Director, Rent the Runway Representative, and the Tigerama Social Media chair. I am a member of Mortar Board and Order of Omega.

My favorite class so far has been the Brand Me class which gave me a “real life” experience with creating a brand plan and presenting it to the public. That class was unlike any other typical class and expected more out of myself, but was beyond worth it. Clemson is so special to me, but even more special because of the Department of Communication! I can’t wait to share more on the blog and give updates on the center through posts, vlogs, photos and personal experiences!

Hi everyone! My name is Claire Harvin, and I am a senior Communication major and Brand Communications minor from Columbia, SC. I have had the privilege of being an Erwin Center student all four years of my undergraduate career and have had the opportunity to take all of the classes the Erwin Center has offered. 

I accredit much of my academic and professional success to the skills I have garnered throughout my time in the Erwin Center. From freshman year, I have grown in my understandings of brands, creativity, presentation skills, project management and professional confidence. Last semester, in a course on  Influencer Marketing, I had the opportunity to present my team’s campaign to the Erwin Center Board and was pushed to develop a deeper understanding of consumers and brands. 

At Clemson, I am also a member of the Calhoun Honors College, a previous intern at the Pearce Center for Professional Communication, a Writing Fellow in Clemson’s Writing Center and the Vice President of Tri Delta. Additionally, I am a member of Pi Kappa Phi, Omicron Delta Kappa and Lambda Pi Eta honor societies.

I am looking forward to working for the Erwin Center during my final year as a student and helping further the program that has been so influential to my studies.
