Each semester, graduating seniors and their parents are invited to join faculty and staff in Godfrey Hall the evening before their graduation.
These receptions are always one of the highlights of the academic year because we have a chance to celebrate our graduating Seniors the night before they walk across the stage and join Clemson in a new roll, as alumni. Many graduates take this as an opportunity to show off Godfrey and ClemsonGC with friends and family who have never been inside the building and seen where their student spent time the last four years.
The receptions are as unique as the class we are celebrating. This year’s reception was planned by Gracie Miller, Alexandra Herrera, and Courtney Edelmayer. Highlights this years included a tree decorated with ornaments designed and cut on our new Mimaki table, a commemorative engraved glass for the take-home gift, and a class photo for graduates’ signatures.
