Amin Bibo is one of Dr. Daqaq’s Ph.D. students and has won the best paper award at ASME’s 2013 Conference on Smart Materials, Adaptive Structures and Intelligent Systems (SMASIS). The conference was held September 16-18 in Snowbird, Utah. The paper is titled Concurrent Energy Harvesting from Vibratory Base Excitations and Aerodynamic Flows and was selected out of 63 papers.
