The Fall semester is around the corner, but don’t worry, Clemson Online has the tools, the trainings, and the tours you need to be ready for Day One. Here’s a taste of what we’re offering this month:
Your classroom tech wants to meet you! Mark August 16 and 17 on your calendars for classroom technology tours and tips from CCIT and Clemson Online. Stop by Brackett Hall either day from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM for an interactive guided tour of classroom technology. Ask questions, talk with classroom and learning technology specialists, and try out the classroom technology for yourself!
Clemson University central classrooms have a standard set of equipment including a projector with HDMI, microphones and wireless capabilities. All classrooms are equipped with a camera and microphone that integrates with Zoom or Webex, along with a number of more advanced rooms equipped specifically for distance education courses or for courses with a lecture capture requirement. Clemson Online will host the 2nd Annual Learning Technology Conference. Workshops will include information on Canvas, Zoom, online assessments, and more.
We will be holding the conference both in-person and via Zoom, simultaneously. For those attending in person, the sessions will be held on site at Clemson Online in a 2nd-floor classroom that is only accessible by steps. For accommodations, please reach out to our office at onlineplus@clemson.edu. Check-in will be from 8am to 8:30am. Lunch will be provided for on site participants, from 12pm to 1pm.
