Follow Up Friday: Getting Started with New Quizzes

On February 7th, Sr. Learning Tech Specialist Gray Jackson facilitated a Quick Hits presentation dedicated to getting started with Canvas’s New Quizzes feature. The presentation offers a detailed introduction to the New Quizzes feature, including a step by step walkthrough of using the program to create a new quiz.

Jackson begins the presentation by demonstrating how to enable the New Quizzes feature in Canvas. He then goes on to discuss some important controls within the program, and demonstrates a detailed series of step-by-step instructions for creating a New Quiz. Additionally, he points out some other essential features within New Quizzes, such as item banking for quiz questions and how to set up “hot spot” questions.

Overall, this session provides audiences with important information regarding Canvas’s New Quizzes feature and highlights some specific ways you can start utilizing the program to develop more detailed quizzes for your students.

Introduction to Simple Syllabus

Join us for our “Introduction to Simple Syllabus” presentation on Thursday, February 27, from 3-3:30 pm! This training will demonstrate how to use the Simple Syllabus tool to build and publish an effective syllabus for your course. The training will also cover integrating Simple Syllabus with Canvas and the benefits of using this tool in your course.
