Learn why keeping your videos in Kaltura is recommended, catch up on the past week, and see what we have coming up!
The benefits of moving your video content from YouTube to Kaltura greatly outweigh the potential chore of having to download from one platform and upload to the other.
We would like to welcome our newest team member and Digital Learning Designer, Casey Pearce!
Casey joins the Clemson Online team to create visual media assets to be deployed in Canvas.
“I grew up near Chicago where I worked with my local Board of Education and developed a passion for education and accessibility. While pursuing my B.A. in Architecture and History at Clemson, I worked as a graphic designer with Clemson’s Creative Inquiry magazine, Decipher. In my free time, I can be found biking around campus or on the trails of the upstate, relaxing by Lake Hartwell, or finding live music events with my friends. I am pleased to continue growing as a designer while promoting education.”
This workshop will provide an overview of the benefits of using Canvas in any teaching modality. Learn how to create assignments and quizzes, and how to upload instructional content to your Canvas site. Your learners will have access to everything they need to be successful in one place. This workshop is open to all instructors, whether you have taught online before or not. Join us virtually through Zoom. Facilitated by Lori Kinley, PhD, Associate Director of Clemson Online. A Zoom link will be emailed to registered participants, 48 hours prior to the day of the event. Contact James Butler with any questions about this session.
Review Clemson Online’s Calendar of Events page for a look at the rest of the development events we are offering in Fall 2022.
