Clemson Online: Where Tech and Teaching Meet

Follow Up Friday: Wrapping Up Spring and Looking Ahead

As finals wrap up and inboxes slowly begin to clear, we’re pausing to say congratulations! Whether you’re grading final projects, posting final grades, or just catching your breath, the end of the semester is a moment worth recognizing. At Clemson Online, we know how much time and effort goes into teaching and learning each term, and we’re here to support your momentum through the summer!

Now’s the Time to Recharge (and Refocus)

Before jumping straight into your next course build or redesign, take a beat. Once you’ve had a moment to decompress, consider joining us this summer for professional development sessions that are practical, time-efficient, and focused on enhancing your online teaching toolbox.

Our Summer 2025 Instructional Development Calendar is live, and we’ve got a full line-up of events designed to meet you where you are, whether that’s prepping a new course in Canvas or fine-tuning your use of video tools like Kaltura.

Upcoming Highlights You Won’t Want to Miss:

  • Kaltura Trainings (May 7–9): Learn how to upload, edit, caption, and quiz with Kaltura, Clemson’s video platform. Whether you’re new or need a refresher, we’ve got you covered.
  • Quick Hits (Starting May 15): In just 30 minutes, get targeted help with your Canvas Gradebook, SpeedGrader, academic integrity tools, and more.
  • Workshop Wednesdays (Ongoing): Topics like time-saving teaching tools, the Community of Inquiry framework, and designing for academic integrity offer tangible takeaways for your next online course.

Keep Us in Your Back Pocket

Even if you’re not teaching this summer, we encourage you to stay connected. Bookmark our Events Calendar to keep tabs on upcoming trainings and workshops. And if you ever need one-on-one support, our team is just an email away. We’re happy to meet with you to talk through course design, instructional technology, or ways to translate your in-person teaching strengths into the online classroom.
