The Office of Military & Veteran Engagement and the Student Veterans Association are excited to host a Veterans Affairs Claims Clinic at the Madren Conference Center on March 11, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This event is open to student, staff, faculty, and external community veterans and military family members.
Receive assistance on topics such as:
- VA disability compensation and pension claims filing and assistance for veteran and widow benefits
- Veteran readiness and employment benefits
- VA life insurance, home loan and education information
- VHA healthcare benefits & on-site enrollment
- VA National Cemetery Adm. Memorial Benefits
- Mental health counseling resources
- Homeless, low-income housing & vocational support services
- Volunteer and employment opportunities
- VA mobile vet center vendors and services from community partners
Representatives from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Dorn Medical Center in Columbia, the South Carolina Department of Veterans Affairs, and Upstate Warrior Solution will be in attendance to assist veterans with claims, appeals, and answer questions about VA benefits, support, and resources.
