Forums for Associate Provost and Dean of the Graduate School Candidates: There will be one final open forum for candidates being considered for the position of Associate Provost and Dean of the Graduate School this week.

The forum for Christine Getz, Associate Dean for Graduate Education and the Arts at the University of Iowa, will take place Wednesday (2/26) from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. in the Watt Center Auditorium.

The forums for John Lopes, Associate Dean for Operations & Graduate and Postdoctoral at the University of Massachusetts, and Aondover Tarhule, Vice Provost and Dean of the Graduate School at SUNY Binghamton, were held at earlier dates. Recordings of the forums will be released soon.

Intro to Fabric Printing Workshop: The Makerspace is partnering with the Adobe Digital Studio, home to the Cooper Library Makerspace, to host a workshop on fabric printing. Learn how to print custom designs on T-shirts, tote bags and other kinds of fabric this Tuesday (2/25) at 3 p.m. on the 5th floor of Cooper Library.

TIGERS ADVANCE Distinguished Speaker Series: Dr. Jenna P. Carpenter will give her lecture “Top Secret: Women’s Contributions to the History of Computing” this Wednesday (2/26) from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Watt Center Auditorium. Carpenter is the founding dean and a professor of engineering at Campbell University.

dARTS…LAST CALL!

The third annual dARTS contest is coming to a close THIS FRIDAY!

We’ve partnered with the Digital and Interactive Arts Lab (DIAL) and the Clemson Art Department to reward your creativity. Submissions are open until Feb. 28, 2020. Read more about the contest on our website.
