Oregon State University’s NSF REU – Engineering for Bouncing Back

We are pleased to announce that applications for the new NSF REU Site on “Engineering for Bouncing Back” hosted by Oregon State University are now being solicited. The website and application forms are live and ready to receive undergraduate applicants interested in research related to the topic of building resilient communities.

Please note the following important dates:

• REU Program will run from June 15 to August 21, 2020. Students have to be able to attend the entire period.
• Applications open on the EBB website: January 31, 2020
• Application deadline: March 8, 2020
• Applicants will be notified of their admission status beginning April 1, 2020.

Eligibility Criteria:

• GPA of 3.0 or above
• Must be U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Must have at least one quarter or semester remaining to graduate after the program
• Students from underrepresented communities, community colleges, and institutions with limited research opportunities are highly encouraged to apply
