Are you interested in a part time job helping monitor SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater from the Clemson area? Dr. Freedman has been working on this project for nearly 16 months and needs some help with sample collection, twice per week. Samples need to be picked up on Tuesday and Thursday by noon from three area treatment plants: the University, the City of Clemson at Cochran Road, and the City of Pendleton near the T. Ed Garrison Center. The samples are then dropped off at the LG Rich Environmental Research Lab in the Clemson Research Park. You need to have a car. It takes about 2 hours each day. Depending on your time and interest level, you will also have an opportunity to manage and analyze the data. If you’re interested, please send an e-mail to Dr. Freedman: dfreedm@clemson.edu. The position is available immediately.
