On March 21st, we held the 2024 EREC Forages Field Day in Blackville. We started the day off by hearing about carbon credits with Dr. Nathan Smith, and then I spoke about research updates from ongoing projects. Following this, Dr. Mike Marshall focused on weed control on pastures, and Mr. Matt Fischer finalized the classroom portion by providing a livestock market update before lunch. We had good attendance and participation, and for that, I am really thankful to the producers, agricultural professionals, and Extension agents and personnel who came to support this event and my research and Extension program.
