Clemson Forage-Livestock Systems Research and Education Program

Dr. Liliane Silva is an Assistant Professor and the Forage-Livestock Systems Specialist at Clemson University. Silva started working with forage and pasture science research in 2010 and has gained experience and knowledge through her work and involvement with diverse groups, activities, and efforts at the regional, national, and international levels.

She was hired in Clemson in Oct/2021 and is located at the Edisto Research and Education Center (EREC) In Blackville, SC. Currently, Silva has several ongoing research and Extension interdisciplinary and multi-state projects and efforts. She has implemented over 85 Extension programming activities and reached more than 3,200 people through in-person training activities in South Carolina.

She has also developed several educational technical publications, posts, five manuals and four online courses.
