On April 18th, I had a chance to speak at the Pendleton Farmers Society meeting in Pendleton, SC. This organization is the birthplace of Clemson University and is the oldest Agricultural Society in the USA (dates back to the 1820s). I want to give a huge thanks to Dr. Timothy Keown for the invitation and opportunity. It is such a privilege and honor be able to experience some things in my job, and have the possibility to, even for a short time, be able to walk in places where history was made that have impacted so many lives until nowadays. It was great to be able to interact with this group, and I appreciate how welcome they were.
