The Annual Cattlemen’s Association Meeting was held on Friday at the T.E. Garrison Arena in Clemson. This year, I was in charge of putting together our Clemson Research Forages program and Extension Livestock and Forages Team table (1st picture). Besides bringing some of the publications I co-authored over the last 2.5 years, I also decided to summarize the ongoing research projects and show some highlights about the Extension work conducted under the Clemson System.
It was good to have part of my forages laboratory members helping at the table during the meeting: Dr. Leo Vieira (postdoc), Luana Zagato (Ph.D. student) and Lexie Harvey (Ph.D. student).
Also, I enjoyed the opportunity to interact with our producers and the industry partners in attendance and receive some important feedback, especially about the work I have been doing since I started at Clemson.
