Clemson IE Joins Prisma Health in Advancing Human Factors in Health Care
Clemson IE faculty and alumni are leading a new partnership with Prisma Health to advance patient safety and care delivery. The Center for Human Factors in Health Care applies human-centered engineering to redesign clinical systems – from ER check-in workflows to telehealth consultations – improving healthcare through data, design, and collaboration.

The department hosted the 3rd annual IE Research Lab Olympics on Wed. May 8th! This is an event where students involved in research, faculty, and staff compete in fun games.

Clemson IE Brings Home Several 2023 HFES Awards
During the 67th HFES Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, Clemson IE students and faculty were awarded for their contributions to the human factors and ergonomics field, followed by the student chapter receiving the Gold HFES Chapter Recognition Award.
