Kaltura Training Series Summer 2026

Join us at Clemson Online in kicking off our Summer with our Kaltura training series! This series will run from May 5th to May 13th. These sessions are designed to strengthen instructors’ use of one the most important online teaching tools, Kaltura! Getting Started with Kaltura

Tuesday, May 5th, 3-4 PM

This training will cover how to access Kaltura, upload videos into Kaltura, create videos with Kaltura Express Capture and Kaltura Capture, and embed Kaltura videos into your Canvas courses. We will walk you through the basics so you can quickly create, upload, and share videos with your students.

Editing Kaltura Videos

Wednesday, May 6th, 3-4 PM

This training will cover trimming, clipping, adding hotspots, editing captions, and creating interactive video quizzes. This guide will walk you through the essential editing tools to help you create engaging videos for your course.

Kaltura Video Quizzes

Thursday, May 7th, 3-4 PM

This training will cover everything you need to know about using Kaltura to make your video quiz, including utilizing various question types, adding a video quiz as a Canvas assignment, and viewing quiz results. Video quizzes are a good way to engage students while assessing their understanding through interactive video content.

Kaltura Best Practices

Wednesday, May 13th, 3-4 PM

This training will cover teaching insights and best approaches for creating lecture videos with Kaltura, including microlectures, chunking information, organizing content, and more.  Using the best practices for Kaltura, you can improve the learning experience for both you and your students!
