Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pine nuts toasted
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 3 cups fresh basil
  • 2 cups baby spinach
  • 2/3 cup olive oil extra virgin
  • 2 TBSP lemon juice freshy squeezed
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Combine pine nuts, garlic, basil leaves, spinach, lemon juice, and salt in a blender or food processor.
  • Blend on high speed, streaming in olive oil until a paste forms, scraping sides as needed. Add the parmesan cheese at the end. Dollop on top of pasta, chicken, pizza – the options are limitless
