Ingredients
- 1/2 cup pine nuts toasted
- 4 garlic cloves
- 3 cups fresh basil
- 2 cups baby spinach
- 2/3 cup olive oil extra virgin
- 2 TBSP lemon juice freshy squeezed
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine pine nuts, garlic, basil leaves, spinach, lemon juice, and salt in a blender or food processor.
- Blend on high speed, streaming in olive oil until a paste forms, scraping sides as needed. Add the parmesan cheese at the end. Dollop on top of pasta, chicken, pizza – the options are limitless
