The competition challenges master’s and doctoral students to present a compelling oration on their thesis and its significance in just three minutes in language appropriate to a non-specialist audience. Clemson University’s Graduate Student Government and the Graduate School are co-hosting this event Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Auditorium.

Makerspace News: The final day to complete projects at the Makerspace before winter break is Wednesday, Dec. 5. Visit their website for more information about equipment, training and hours.

There’s a $300 prize up for grabs and the chance to have your work displayed with Watt Center technologies. We launch the contest Wednesday, Oct. 31 and you have until Jan. 16, 2019 to submit your work.
