Williamson Road Parking Garage Construction Continues

The foundational groundwork for Clemson University’s first parking structure is significantly progressing. The new Williamson Road Parking Garage will make getting around Clemson easier, safer, and more convenient, with six levels of parking near existing lots, transit stops, and the center of campus. With vehicle access from Williamson Road and Perimeter Road, clear connections to the C-2 and E-3 lots, and a pedestrian bridge that helps students, faculty, staff, and visitors cross the busy roadway safely, the garage creates a more connected and accessible campus experience for everyone.

Timelapse construction of one of the large cranes that will be used to build the parking structure.

The first vertical element was installed this week, marking the beginning of the structure’s construction of the ground floor on the site’s northwest corner along with columns for the first elevated floor. We’re very grateful for excellent work being done by Triangle Construction.
