ME senior, Justin Showghi, is one of the lead engineers on this project. The team’s goal is to send the blankets to Tanzania, to be used in medical centers to improve warming methods for newborns. To scale up their operation and achieve this goal, they started a crowd-founding campaign to raise money.

Clemson University will begin offering graduate-level mechanical engineering courses at the Lowcountry Graduate Center in January to help fill the need for highly educated workers in the Charleston area.
